Freddy (Germany)

Overview
For this project, the goal was to create a high-performing paid social ad using existing influencer-generated content. Instead of producing new material, I focused on repurposing short clips from influencers showcasing Freddy products to create a fast-paced, engaging video tailored for paid advertising.
The result was a high-performing ad creative that ran for several months and consistently delivered strong returns.

Strategy
Creative Goal
Capture attention quickly in a fast-scrolling social feed
Leverage authentic influencer content to build trust
Showcase product variety and real-life use
Maximize engagement and retention through pacing and structure
Creative Approach
The video was built as a mash-up of short influencer clips, focusing on:
Very fast cuts to maintain attention
Real people wearing the product in different contexts
Highlighting movement, fit, and style of the pants
Creating a dynamic and energetic rhythm
Instead of polished, traditional ads, the focus was on authenticity and relatability, aligning with how users consume content on social platforms.
Execution
Selected high-performing clips from influencer content
Edited a fast-paced video using short, engaging cuts
Structured the video to capture attention within the first seconds
Optimized the format for paid social placements
Added text to highlight the product benefits
The creative was designed to feel native to the platform, blending seamlessly into users’ feeds while still promoting the product effectively.
Results
ROAS: 8–12 consistently on a weekly basis
Longevity: Ad ran for several months before performance declined
Engagement: Strong audience response, indicating high creative effectiveness
This creative became one of the top-performing ad assets, demonstrating the impact of well-executed, platform-native video content.
Key Takeaway
High-performing ads don’t always require new production: Repurposing authentic influencer content with strong editing and pacing can outperform traditional creatives and deliver long-term results.
