Sauso is a Finnish premium accessories brand known for its handcrafted leather gloves and timeless designs rooted in nearly a century of craftsmanship. In this campaign, the objective was to increase awareness of Sauso’s seasonal collection, drive targeted traffic, and support online sales across multiple digital channels.

  • Drive targeted traffic to the website for online sales

  • Highlight the brand’s premium craftsmanship and heritage

  • Maintain consistent messaging across all digital touchpoints

Creative Approach

  • Brand Positioning: Emphasize quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design rather than fast trends

  • Visual Storytelling: Use close-up shots of products in authentic lifestyle settings, highlighting textures and details of the leather goods

  • Mood & Color Palette: Muted, warm tones (browns, deep greens, neutrals) reflecting heritage and sophistication

  • Typography & Layout: Minimal, clean text overlays to match premium aesthetic; focus on clarity and elegance

  • Consistency Across Channels: All visuals — Meta, Google Display, website banners, email — maintain cohesive style and messaging

  • Subtle Product Placement: Highlight the gloves/accessories in lifestyle contexts to make them aspirational yet relatable

  • Google Display Ads: designed creatives; co-worker managed campaign setup

  • Website Banners: homepage hero (responsive)

  • Email Newsletter: wrote copy and designed template

All with the same visual consistency

I created the visuals, set up the Meta campaign, and wrote the email newsletter. My co-worker set up a Google Display Ads campaign from the visuals I provided. AI tools were used to generate initial copy drafts and explore headline variations, while all visuals were hand-crafted to reflect the premium look and feel of the brand.

Results

  • Approx ROAS: 5.3 - 6.1

  • Increased sales during the seasonal sale

  • Increased website traffic, significant uplift during the campaign

  • Newsletter click-through rates exceeded regular newsletters, typical of discount sale campaigns

  • Key Insights: Strong offer promise (50% off) resulted in high CTR. Close-up lifestyle imagery performed best in paid social and display ads, highlighting the value of emphasizing product quality and brand heritage
